In this year of making 2008 glorious, I have returned from Chicago where I went via the train. It was great and reninded me of my youth as an invererate train rider: the food, service and views were lovely. Had a remarkable tour of the city courtesy of a cab driver who love the city and wanted to talk about it as he gave a guided tour of outstanding authority. Hours later, I was deposited at the Omni Chicago which is in the heart of Michigan Avenue's Miracal Mile where shoping till you drop is no problem. Tried on a $28,000.00 mink coat. No, I did not buy it, but there is something about quality that just speaks to me and always has. I got that from Dad. He loved the best of everything eventhough he did not have to have it. Just knowing that high quality is available was fun enough for him and me, it seems.
Had dinner with a good friend as well. Old friends are indeed the best ones.
CJ and I are on the cover of the Town calander. What did they do before we came here?
